I would like to know if anyone has shipped their dog from Canada directly to
Liberia or San Jose using Air Canada (as cargo) and how did it go. We would be on the same flight as our dog.
(We have a 9 year old dog weighing approx. 22 pounds). Any comments or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Lorraine
It could be more expensive than you would hope for…as when shipping as cargo uses a broker.
I understood that Air Canada did not fly pets as cargo, but if they are between 10-32 Kl, they travel as checked/extra baggage, as long as you are traveling on the same flight.
Check on ‘black out’ periods relating to weather temps….especally if flying as cargo.
