I live in Sierpe, and fish as often as I can! If we’re going out with friends or clients we use Aldea del Rio. They have great boats, gear, and captains. Check them out at http://www.aldeadelrio.com Ask for “Jungle J” and tell him that Trevor sent you. They’ll take good care of you. Also if you come down, look me up and let’s have a beer together!

Hey Trevor! Still enjoying the good life I see! I’m sooo jealous! And I see you have a new lady in your life and at the office! I’m looking forward to returning to Siepe IN January… I’ll buy the beer!

    Hahaha!

How funny CJ… I just got an email from someone yesterday, named CJ, and I thought it was from you! And then low and behold here you are! Funny how the world works. Great to hear from you! How are you? It’s great to hear you’ll be down here in January and even better to hear you’re buying the beer! I look forward to introducing you to Chelsea. My dad says hello back to you.

    Best,
    Trevor

What kind(s) of fish are you guys talking about fishing for here? And in what manner? Are you talking light tackle and casting lures, trolling bait, bottom fishing with cut bait,or what?

All the different kinds you mentioned David… river fishing at it’s best and if you like…. down the Sierpe river to the ocean. Check out the link Trevor put up and see all the different kinds of fish the area covers! The hotel is a nice place right at the end of town on the river and a great jump off point. I LOVE Sierpe… give it a try!

Absolutely! I would be more than happy to show you where the best boat ramp is and also introduce you to a great guide. Our partner’s son is the best fisherman around. When do you think you’ll be coming down to visit?

River fishing is not my strong suit, we’re geared for ocean fishing. If you want, I can find a great guide for you, and if I’m not busy I’d love to come with. Would you like me to set that up?

Hey Guys, I am also coming to Sierpe January 1 or 2 until about the 6th then have to go back to San Jose to head back to Arizona. I will be looking for a rental housing market. I will retire there next summer and want to rent a small house around Sierpe or on down on the Osa. Maybe I could get in some fishing when I am there. Any help would be great. Ron USCG Ret

If there was any chance of me fishing with you, it would be on 12/8. I’ll have to see how my schedule and wallet are doing! The price with a local guide is $350 for 7 hours. This includes, captain, equipment, food and drinks (not beer). If you wanted to do it on 12/7, he’s available, but I definitely couldn’t make it. You can leave as early as 6 am, or as late as 10am. I will be in town both days and if we don’t get to go fishing together, I hope we can meet up for bite to eat. Sierpe is about an hour and a half from Dominical. Please let me know anything I can do to help you make this happen!
