If you search, you will find many forums posts regarding jobs and working in Costa Rica – It’s not a simple process and and can imagine it being even less simple when it comes to working in any government related health care facilities which would only work of course if you speak fluent Spanish do you?

You can see our minimum salaries article at: [ https://www.welovecostarica.com/members/436.cfm ]

The salary for a highly trained and very experienced nurse working full time in Costa Rica would be about 502 British pounds (under $1,000) per month.

It would be well to search this forum carefully for discussions about employment opportunities for foreigners in Costa Rica. In words of one syllable or less, it ain’t likely.

Costa Rica is very protective of its citizens and their employment opportunities. Any foreigner will have to go to extreme lengths to work here legally although there are some who work here illegally. If you have a bona fide offer of employment here, your employer can help you wade through the bureaucratic maze of obtaining a work permit. It’s a long, drawn out process.
