status of Route 1?

does anyone have any knowledge about the status of Route 1 north of Puntarenas?
I heard today that the approach to the bridge at Rio Seco washed away and the road may be closed “several days”.
I have to drive my daughter and 3 grand children to SJO for a flight Monday morning and would appreciate any information available – or if anyone knows a source or web site to check for the status that would be great as well.

I came up on the bus at 4.00pm on saturday. No delays at all…it appeared that the road had been filled at least and maybe resurfaced.
