How I wish I had used Dr. Mario in the first place. The (unnamed) dentist I did use made a hash of my sinus lift and bone graft leaving me in pain for over 3 months. The final fix required a dentist, an ENT specialist, and surgery at CIMA. Not the original plan, believe me. The original surgery was August of 2012 and I still have a slowly closing fistula that has to be monitored. Next time, I will listen to my friends on welovecostarica.
I am very sorry to hear that VictoriaLST. There are indeed some horror stories out there….
Dr. Mario is certainly not the cheapest dental professional out there but who wants “cheap” when it can end up costing you three months of pain, an additional dentist to fix what should have been fixed to begin with, an ENT specialist and additional surgery at Hospital CIMA which is what you unfortunately went through?
Question #1: Dare I ask what the initial treatment should have cost with the dentist?
Question #2: And what did you end up paying in total for all the repair work, Doctors, surgeries and hospital costs?

Initial cost was $1,800. Second opinion, ENT consult and second surgery – $1,200. Final surgery at CIMA, $5,400. Trips to and from San Jose, with hotels …. priceless (not).
