I am amazed about the amount of important info in this forum. I will need help when it comes to following up on it all. Who is the one person who I can contact when it comes to all these legalities? Health care, banking, residency, corps, what all? etc etc…. How will I be able to contact that super person, how much will it cost, etc? Everything is changing on a daily bases and I can’t keep up.
I’ll be doing this alone, my chalange in itself, and I want to live there perminately. I’d like a list of all the paperwork I need to have for all the legal possibilities. Right, everyone’s dream!! Where do I start?
I’m easy to get along with and know how to take direction, and I don’t bother anyone with trivia.
Plus, I need a great map showing towns and cities, roads, hospitals, protected jungles of CR. I know, even the roads are changing, hospitals being built, so, where can I order a somewhat current great map that I can hold in my hands?
Thank you all!April 1, 2010 at 3:54 pm #198926VmcMember
I am amazed about the amount of important info in this forum. I will need help when it comes to following up on it all. Thank you all!
You will find a WEALTH of information here, and you may also want to read up on the ARCR, they will handle a lot of legalities, or tell YOU how to, and by combining that with the information you find here will make things a lot easier.
We have been researching our move for some time now and have had MOST of our questions answered and fears allayed by reading here and talking to other members…You will find MOST of them eager to help.
…As for a Map, I’m not sure where to tell you, except maybe the ARCR….SOMEONE will chime in and correct me if there is better information, so stick around and best of luck to you and yours!
Dan.
April 1, 2010 at 4:58 pm #198927soldierMemberThis forum is a gold mine, I found it by accident, while conducting some Costa Rica reasearch. Other members have provided me with a wealth of on-the-ground-information. I joined the ARCR, about four months ago; they have provided excellent information, service etc.

April 6, 2010 at 11:45 pm #198930AndrewKeymasterSorry but the ‘one’ expert person you hope to find does not exist…

I finally figured out how to delete that. Interesting huh?
I also ordered the map suggested by grb – it was from Nat’l Geog
Thanks guys, I should be set with the best maps for sure!
May 29, 2010 at 3:22 pm #198934conniejogMemberI’ve gotten both maps! Glad that I have both because what one has the other does not have.
Thanks -
