There are two general ways to NOT pay taxes on any income; One is called tax evasion and the other is called tax avoidance. While both are morally justifiable in my opinion, only one is legally justifiable in the opinion of the IRS and the corrupted Federal courts. As we all know, tax avoidance is basically the many loopholes that the rich and corporate owners of the system have created for themselves while there is little relief for the wage slaves. I am always disappointed in the general, apathetic response of the American public to this sorry state of affairs. I guess we deserve to be the slaves we are.

In America you have the FREEDOM to try and join the ranks of the wealthy and/or corporate owners. Once you achieve that it’s your choice whether you want to “avoid” taxes. I’m sure many do so and I’m sure there are many that do not. Whether you are able to reach that status is up to YOU…whether you want to work hard enough and make the necessary sacrifices is YOUR choice but at least you have that choice. Some will make and some will not. Many people CHOOSE not to go that route (the “slaves” I guess). That’s their choice. You’re correct in that people are apathetic but they are that way because they CHOOSE to be that way.

You might find this You’re Not Rich Because You’re a Loser article interesting…

Here are a couple of interesting sections from the article:

“… We have hypothesized the system has been deliberately constructed to provide the promise of prosperity but not, necessarily, the reality.

“The emergence of central banking and the graduated income tax has made it difficult for many to save enough for old age. When one adds up the real inflation rate plus the entire gamut of taxes that local, state and federal agencies demand, the result may be upwards of 50 percent of one’s real income.”

“It is no coincidence that some of the world’s largest companies have been formed by youngsters attending institutions such as Harvard and Oxford. Mysteriously, funding is available to them immediately and market acceptance is enhanced by a variety of advertising and public relation methodologies. At this point in time – unlike in past epochs – one could speculate that no company grows to a size of any significance without the imprimatur of the Anglosphere elite and the subsequent or initial involvement of Intel agencies.”

your absolutely correct!!! it is your choice to strive to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve. you have to decide exactly what it is you want and devise a plan to get there and start. with the awareness to see what is working and not working and make the adjustments along the way.

there is a great quote I always remember that is soooo true in todays society

”True Maturity is achieved with the realization…. that no one is coming to the rescue”

Are you seriously saying that 90% or more of humanity prefers to live in poverty or that 90% or more of humanity is made up of lazy, stupid people..or both?

Why do you think we have had a series of revolutions throughout history? There has always been a predatory element within our species who feed on the herd, so to speak. They do nothing to advance our welfare and, in fact, have held us back at every turn. You are mouthing the propaganda that elite ruling class wants to hear from the enslaved masses. If you choose to side with these blood sucking masters, out of ignorance or out of self interest, you do so at the expense of the rest of humanity…and become the enemy of humanity,

first of all lets bring it down a notch.. I don’t even know why I even respond to you since it is NOT my intentions to change your point of view. I could really care less but

your views of the world are just that.. nothing more or less. just like your views with sexuality. and your personal environment I’m sure is a direct reflection of your beliefs. that is all.

    you ever hear the phrase

    “reality is negotiable””

i believe that the problems we have in the U.S. are mostly because the masses have given up thier own god given right of independence, individual thought and fail to take any real action. instead they rally behind these paper politicians just like they did when obama was campaigning.. to come and save them. instead of assessing where they are right now as opposed to where they want to be and start moving in that direction.

its like the decision that you made sprite to live here in costa rica.. that was a conscience decision made by you and whatever it took to get to that point you took a decisive action and made a choice. as with alot of people on this forum.

just that choice alone separates you from 99% of the masses.

you have the freedom to make those kinds of choices. just like like the freedoms here.

we live in truly incredible times right now and with more opportunity than ever. BUT one needs to reboot thier mind and the past beliefs that are of no use and learn and implement.

the past does not equal the future.

sprite, you asked, “Are you seriously saying that 90% or more of humanity prefers to live in poverty or that 90% or more of humanity is made up of lazy, stupid people..or both?”

And the answer is that that is precisely what they are saying. Anyone who has the will and desire can ascend to any height they aspire to. It’s a universal truth.

The entire human population can be legitimately measured by its very most successful members regardless of the venue in which they function. There is, for example, no practical reason that every schoolboy who plays sandlot baseball cannot succeed in the major leagues and hit sixty or more home runs a season. Babe Ruth did it. Roger Maris did it. Sammy Sosa did it. So there’s no reason that you and I couldn’t do it, too. We’re just not motivated enough.

And if we were just sufficiently motivated, you and I, batting averages aside, could invent the Apple computer, found Microsoft, cure HIV, and bring peace to the Middle East. We’re just not motivated enough.

Yes, sprite, it’s true . . . If everyone was just motivated enough, if we all just aspired to eat regularly, to drink clean water, to see our children survive, and to enjoy the finer things of life, we all could join the ranks of the super rich. But we’d rather live hand-to-mouth, dirt poor, because we’re just not motivated enough. There are no barriers to success if we’re just motivated enough.

The remaining question is, how many major league homers did bogino and smelly (Oops!! “smekuly”) hit at the heights of their careers?

david… did you just call me smelly??? like body oder smelly LOL smekuly 8)

    great reply.

and regarding how many homeruners have I ever hit in my career??

    NONE!!!!

    why??

because I don’t aspire to look for the homes runs but I consistently hit singles. day in and day out. 😀 I let the big boys go after the home runs

    but this is my choice.

and when my sons grow up I will teach them that they can do or be whatever they want in life and to never let anyone tell them different.

and this is what allows me to live stress free. and do whatever it is I want to do without depending on any goverment bullshit.

I have no debt and love my life I have a family that I love and I care for them.

if you can sum up my current mission statement

    To Love
    and to be loved
    and NEVER stop learning.

but sprite your a pip.. 😀

I agree sprite and as I have said many times: “Clearly there are quite a few powerful people who believe that human beings of all races and creeds are just another crop to be harvested…” Scott Oliver.
But Scott, what you failed to include is . . .

    – You WILL pay U.S. income taxes on all your U.S.-taxable income received from any source in the world (but subject to the “Earned Income Tax Credit” which probably won’t apply in this case).

    – The IRS Code DOES provide for the taxability of ALL income from any source in the world and paid to a U.S. citizen regardless of his or her country of residence.

    – Your taxable income WILL include taxable pensions, the taxable part of your Social Security, taxable withdrawals from tax-deferred saving plans (IRAs, 401ks, etc). And . . .

    – As a practical matter, you WILL NOT be able to avoid these U.S. taxes or we’da already done it.
Our slave’s chains go all the way around the world, don’t they. How come this doesn’t seem to bother most people? It bugs the hell out of me.

    #173765

used to bug the hell out of me also

so I decided to study and immerse myself in structuring all my affairs where I actually don’t pay any taxes.

    well let me rephrase this

    we all pay taxes..

    2 times

    1 coming in

    and 2 going out

for example a W2 in the US

    if you make $100

you wind up with $75 or less

then you take that $75 and go and live buying good and services.. which you more taxes

so i wonder how much we really pay.. i would say 50% or more.. between gas tax, property tax, homeland security tax, cell phone tax, insurance tax, welfare, social programs, taxes , taxes and more taxes

can you imagine.. over half of what you make goes out paying taxes.

and finally as the ultimate “bend over” you have these incompetent politicians.. out wasting your money on things they should not be spending them on.

so what is someone supposed to do..

get into a fetal position and cry :cry::cry::cry::cry:

    NOPE :):):):):)

and although many people will balk at this for whatever reason feeling morally justified that since they have to get into the fetal position and just pay pay pay..

    while others don’t ..

    what can I say..

    life is not fair 😀

    here is a perfect example

here in our beautiful country of costa rica

these incompetent idiots and when I say idiots I refer to governmental idiots whether its here or in the U.S.

create this idealistic plan to lets tax the luxury homes here.

so my friend who always follows the letter of the law

was actually one of the noobs that actually paid this tax

so what happens besides the 85% or so that did NOT pay.

    nothing…

except comes the following year when the luxury tax was due again…

and my friend decided that “hey… ths is not fair and was deciding whether he should pay again… but it was too late

they put out a list public list of sorts of all the people that paid last year.. to make sure they pay again :shock::shock:

    what about the other 85%?????

    so the story continues

life is most definitely not fair

but thats OK because once you understand this.. you can learn the strategies to make it fair.

of course, they are taxing us to death — the list of hidden taxes we pay in the States is completely mind-boggling, including some stupid tax on your phone bill that was supposed to pay off the civil war debt or something equally stupid!! personally, i think if you come to Costa Rica and want to live the high life and live in a “luxury”home, you should damn well pay those taxes. whether it’s fair that your friend pays and the other 85% don’t pay is a moot point. revenue has to come from some place and taxes and fines and all the other little niggling things they are going to slap us with i.e., taxes on our S.A.s for instance, is about the only way this government has of raising money. eventually CR will catch up with the scofflaws and then they will have to pay the piper and it will probably be a lot more than what they wouldve paid had they done it when it was due. yes, the cost of living here is less than a lot of places, but it’s not FREE!!

Infrastructure requires money and governments pay for this with taxes. There are many kinds of taxes and the US got by just fine with NO INCOME TAX right up until 1950. (most Americans did not pay income tax up to that point and many still do not)

Costa Rica does not tax income earned in country when it is something less than $1200 per month last I heard. This means that most Costa Ricans pay no income tax. If the same formula were translated to the US economy and pro rated, most of us would pay no income tax either, just as our grandparents paid no income tax.

So why does the IRS collect income tax? The revenues are not used for infrastructure. They are used to pay the interest to the IMF (the FED) for the creation of money. Again, all money finds its way back to the source of its creation, the banks. It is a closed circuit system and you and I are not allowed to leave it. If we did, it would be considered a short circuit and immediately attended to by the IRS, an enforcement agency of the IMF (read: world elites)

If you believe you owe the IRS taxes on your income, you have been brainwashed. It is not constitutional and therefor it is not legal. If you know better and choose not to go along with this scam, you will be subjected to strong armed gangster style confiscation of your money. Scott wisely stays away from American slaves who want to invest offshore.

you bring up a good point and your right. the question I have is this.

question: Where is All The Money???

the increased proposals to raise taxes is NOT the answer. I truly believe that they do need like you said to work on collecting taxes and learn how to do things the right way. but they won’t

    why??

because its NOT thier money at stake 😀

    think about this

gas is the most expensive here

all imported items like electronics are the most expensive

    cars are the most expensive

transit fines are the most expensive now in the world I think?? 😀

where is all the money??? they surely not investing in our roads… ??

where in gods name is that money… this is the problem here..

I mean.. look at the caldera highway a project that has been going on for many years..

yet, the problems that continue is comical..if I built the highway then its understandable because I know nothing about building highways

    but these are professionals

as a previous brick and mortar business I had to pay $2500 per month for caja for employee’s if not I would risk going to jail.. and they would send inspectors. if I was behind 1 or 2 months.. this could have been problematic for me.

yet the same government that would send me to jail.. owes the caja a ton of money..:shock::shock::shock:

this is what I am saying.. there is no effiency with government and this will continue.. the only bright idea that politicians ever have really is the same play book.

    lets create another tax.

    look don’t get me wrong

costa rica has its problems.. but its still the best place to be with its proximity to the U.S.

I am waiting for them to start taxing feria purchases :D:D:D

the new tax on S.A. will be a cash cow for them.. but this wil not fix the problem because they will need money again soon for something else

    and the question would be

but where is all the money???

even though only 25% of people paid that luxury tax.. ok.. so it did not hit its mark that was supposed to build homes for the poor

    so where is that money???:D
