I am thinking about retiring and moving to Costa Rica in about 1 or 1 1/2 years. I am a teacher and have a major in English. I was wondering if there are possiblities to teach English or music in Costa Rica? How much can a person earn a month teaching English in CR?

Shirley (above) is right. There’s much more to it than just the matter of rates of pay.
I think pay is a good place to start..its much less in Costa Rica than US..I have a friend who’s son is in private school..there is an english teacher there from texas..she likes her job,but the pay is not like USA..but the country is beautiful and the people are spectacular..
