I just heard that ICE is creating a Telework Office program so employees will not have to commute to the main office in Sabana. This would certainly help lessen traffic jams at peak hours. Hopefully other companies will follow ICE’s lead. Has anyone else heard of this new program?
As a customer of ICE (which is the main electricity and telephone communications monopoly company – [ http://www.grupoice.com/ ]), my main concern would be continued professional support services. As long as I get the service, I’m happy…
As a businessman involved with a number of different businesses with dozens of people in various locations with a wide array of responsibilities, it is crucial that the people that do work for me – and the new telecommuters at ICE – have simple but effective systems in place to monitor, measure and reward the work that is done.

Additionally, given the number of ICE employees commuting daily to the Sabana area, eliminating the pollution from their vehicles could significantly improve the air quality in and around the park as well as for those who live and work close by.
