    WE FOUND OUT FROM OUR ATTORNEY THAT WE CAN SET UP A PENSION PLAN, SINCE WE’RE SELF-EMPLOYED, IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR RESIDENCY STATUS.

    Vivian,

    PLease please tell me how you are doing this. My husband and I are applying for Rentista status but my parents are not able to come up with a $60,000 lump sum. Are you applying as Pensionados???
