The Huffington Post ran a travel piece on Costa Rica 5 months ago:

They mention Tim Lytle (AKA Tico Grande)and his blog, but that site seems strangely out of date. Does anyone know if he and his personalized tours [for better or worse] are still around?

PEHIf he is retired then he is not allowed to work giving tours surely?

Tim is a Permanent Resident so he is permitted to work.
fionabbb, I would be very cautious of writing anything that may be considered ‘libelous’ in a forum in Costa Rica.
