I am bringing an 8 week old puppy back with me in March. Puppy is too young for a rabies shot, has anyone done this, will I have a problem at SJO?
The US Embassy website posts “Animals over 3 months of age must be vaccinated against rabies” so you have a lot of leeway there.
According to Delta airlines, your pet must be at least 10 weeks old for Domestic and International travel…and AA writes “Dogs and cats must be at least eight weeks old to travel” although I’m sure you have already checked with your airline of choice.
Good luck!!
