I’m relatively new to this site but I’ve learned a great deal and have two suggestions for folks looking for info here.
The First, for people considering buying property is to first buy Scotts book “How to buy Costa Rica realestate without losing your camisa” it’s inexpensive and comes fully loaded with good info.
The second, for general Q&A is to peruse this forum from start to finish including clicking the “NEXT” button to see older posts. I’ve been browsing them for a week and have found answers to at least 15 or 20 questions I had in mind to ask here. All responses are dated so you’ll know how old the info is.
Oh… for a chuckle or two, read the spirited discussion titled “Costa Rica: No Standing Army” with one click you can experience patriotism, expatriotism (not a real word but you’ll see…) anger, angst, hope, determination, mud slinging, facts, fantasy, humor, and more… all in one lengthy yet informative series of posts!
Scott, thanks again for a great site and a useful, practical addition to my growing Costa Rica library. By the time we actually get there we may know more about CR than many Ticos do!
