I bought Scotts book in the airport while I was departing San Jose a few weeks ago and have now just got the point where I can start reading it.
Is there any real important info in the book that is now outdated? Or inaccurate due to unforseen changes since publication that I should be aware?
Thanks
Phil
The book was only published in May 2005 so there will be some prices that will be slightly out of date but it would be difficult to notice. The realy important information is NOT out of date.

Thanks Scott,.
Deep into the book now and am enjoying it!
Hello Scott
Enjoy your website very much. Plenty of useful tips.
My husband and I are from Canada and have purchased land south
of Dominical. We hope to relocate in 2 years or maybe less.
Can you tell me what books you have written about? I am interested
in investing information for Costa Rica. Also I would like to know
what changes when a person becomes a permanent resident after 2 years?
Also can an immigrant import clothing for resale without much trouble?
Thanks in advance.
I’m not sure what you mean when you ask me “what books” I have written about…
I have written only two books, the first one about investing and the second one about Costa Rica real estate
Not sure how you would make money importing clothing to Costa Rica, there would be quite a bit of competition for you no matter where you are…
