What is the time frame that expats must be out of CR to renew their visa for an another 90 days upon re-entry into the country??.
it is only 72 hours for those who have to deal with customs duties (or how you call that), that means if you go for example to San Andres and buy stuff tax free.
There is nothing written in the costa rican immigration law that tourists have to leave for 72 hours. You can cross the border and come back 2 hours later, no problem.
