Hi all
I really enjoy your forum and the info you provide, it seems to be spot on, that’s why I’m hoping Scott or another fellow Brit might be able to help me with my visa question.
I’m currently in the US on the visa waiver program – 3 months entry for UK citizens. Our family will move to Costa Rica in June.
As I entered the states in January I have to leave in March, this is fine as we expect to make a visit to Costa Rica to look at schools etc during the Spring Break.
I’ve been told, however, that I may not be able to return to the US on the visa waiver program because I’m coming in from Costa Rica and that immigration will class me as never having left the country, thus still only giving me 3 months.
Is this going to be the case or can you still get the green visa waiver cards upon arrival back in the USA?
I dont have a clue but I would suggest that you email your concern to the US consulate or State Department rather than get misinformation from someone on this forum or anyother forum. Though I am sure the advise you would get would be with the best of intentions it still might be incorrect. Good luck.
