I was back for a family wedding in January and while not a Walmart fan as I hate the monopoly factor that has changed so many small towns all the way to Alaska, I was amazed to find so many small signs from a 5 klm radius directing everyone to the address, Thats the (one) address that you will have no trouble finding in Costa Rica, That in itself is changing the charm of the country.
They will never give back to any community!!! Just take over the retail world.

I hate the idea that shopping at Walmarts helps destroy all the Mom and Pop stores through out the community there by eliminating the compition. Once the compition is gone so is your ability to find a square and reasonable deal on anything. Fight this slow corporate takeover of the market place. Refuse to shop Walmarts and Sams unless that’s the only place you will have a choice to shop if you do. The junk they sell isn’t worth running your neighbors out of business and the buyers of your community into a corner they unwitingly created.
