Is the WAZE app available in English in Costa Rica? It was recently recommended in an article on Costa Rica Driving Tips in WLCR
Yes Waze is available here, many people in my family use Waze and the Ticos love using it ..

Thanks for the reply. The attached link was really interesting. You did not answer if communication is available in English. Since I have never used the app, I don’t know how the app communicates with the USER.
Yes, WAZE will talk to you in English, if that’s what you want. But it will talk in “miles”, not kilometers, although I think you can change that under settings.
