Well, it has been a crazy couple of weeks but we have arrived.
My family (a tica, 3 year old, dog and cat) and I have moved to CR on a shoe string budget. We left MN drove a QX4 to houston and then to gulfport MS. The Suv is being shipped using DOLE and should be here in about a week and a half.

It has been a adventure as we have had two deaths in the family and all the fun of moving to another country. Today we have our cells hooked up, bank accounts (crazy new laws that have come into place) and tommorw will we have to do the rest of the paper work for my resid.

Its been crazy but worth it for the family reasons. More to come on our story for sure!

    Bienvenidos!

Hope the shoestrings are all still attached…

By the way, I just must ask you one thing – since every indication you have given us suggest you work for the US government and you are not a Realtor – why do you use the username of TicoRealtor?

I am a Reservist but have been on active duty for the last seven years. During my activation I was all over the globe until I landed a spot with Southern Command in a Embassy. I will be retiring this December and living in CR.
I also sold real estate in Minnesota for 15 years but the last two or so I was starting to concentrate on CR. I was doing home buyers seminars in Minnesota and showing people how to retire here in CR. When it was time to renew my account with you it would not take my last log in name so I change to to what it is today.

There have been several attempts by Minnesota groups to get developments started near Camaronal. Are you affiliated or familiar with those efforts?

No I am not? Who are the developers? I have met a couple of Minnesotans that are building and developing but in the San Ramon area.
