Who are the Costa Rica Title Insurance providers?

Who are the title Ins. providers in Costa Rica? Yes Stewart Title, anyone else? It is kind of interesting the Costa Rica Attorneys that I know they all chuckle (like what a huge waste of money) when they here the title ins. topic come up.

If they chuckle, look out. If Stewart Title gives you a Title Insurance Policy, then you have a VERY GOOD assurance of good title.
I don’t understand why they are lax because in the States the attorney gets a cut of the premium.

There are at least half a dozen “Title Guarantee” companies here now.

I believe Costa Rica law prevents them from using the word “insurance”

If you Google ‘Costa Rica Title companies’ you’ll find quite a few and yes! The attorneys typically earn a decent chunk of the premium.
