Wal-Mart de Mexico is a sub-division of the headquarters for Wal-mart in Bentonville, Ark.

W/M de Mexico handles all of the Central and South America operations to include the stores in Costa Rica

    🙄

IF!!!! this happened in Mexico it also happened in Costa Rica

    very true kwhite1:

what we call POOR countries leve completely different from us in the USA. I know families that live with a $1,000.00 a month income in Costa Rica just because of the safety net of their extended families.

My wife has 6 other brothers and sisters and the meals for the Holidays are extravagant. Everybody brings in a meal or all those ingredients to make one and everyone is supposed to bring according to their financial input.

they all enjoy the food equaly even if 1 member gave $100.00 and another $10.00 and both eat the same food regardless of the amount invested.

don’t ask me what I have to give but I am in their EYES one of the 1%, LOL

the young ones eat first then the teenagers and then the women at last the men

all this time the kitchen is a whilwind of activity besides the cooking you have the partial cleaning

PS: what does this have to do with Gold and Silver?? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

watch these numbers both in population and years

they all belong to Costa Rica

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_peoples_of_Costa_Rica

in 1502 the population of indians was Considered to be 104,000

    by 1550, only 20,000

and a fact remains that they had lived in these lands for over 10,000 YEARS

have you lived 10 years in Costa Rica??

It all depends what part of the Country you choose to live in. I have been looking at the Tilaran – Lake Arenal area. It is quite different from San Jose and surrounding areas.

Cheap real estate compared to other places, quite unexpensive for food, not congested, a simpler life style, less petty crime, etc.

On the other side; you do not have a large selection of goods and products to buy but in my Golden years I don’t need the night club life (been there-done that).

Coffe in the morning while reading the newspaper never worry about the 8 to 5 clock, retirement MODE for me.

    as an example;

many years ago while working for PPG my boss told me that I would never get a promotion to a higher level

    I asked him WHY???

    he told me;

    you are not married
    don’t have a mortgage
    no kids and NO DEBTS

basicaly he told me that I had nothing the company could hold me HOSTAGE for and why promote someone that COULD eventually leave for the competition with all that knowledge

the more debt the more rules the system places on you

    Victoria:

I understand your principles and will give you an example on why you are HALF right.

My oldest son who by the way was born in CR came to the USA with a tica and 3 years latter had 2 girls, the first one was born blind (septo optic displacia).

WELL!!!! he gets $800.00 from SSA for her blind daughters disability, free Medicare (priceless), $600.00 for section 8 for housing and $500.00 in food stamps.

$1,900.00 a month for FREE and it is TAX deductible

then the “IDIOT” decided to send his wife to CR and keep the girls and found another woman and got her pregnant.

    Should I continue??

guess who pays for all his entitlements??

    the Tax payers

don’t get me wrong, I just gave you an example were you are right but does that mean ALL of them do not deserve a helping hand

Yes that is fair but answer me one question.

Do you live in CR as a legal resident??

if you do then you have to pay La Caja

ask the CR goverment for a refund on your money

    think again before you post

    Scott:

the lawsuit was asked to be DISMISSED, read the 1st page the rest is point, counter points by the lawyers

there could be an apeal but Paragon has more $$$ to pay high power lawyers than the other side

it is really complicated but at the end Paragon will win!!

“ORDER GRANTING MOTIONS TO DISMISS WITHOUT PREJUDICE”
    by the defendants (Paragon)

they can keep the courts BUSY for years on this issue while the Plaintiff (acusers) will have to spend $ to $ against the other side

black and white scenario; unless there is a miracle Paragon is off the hook and if they lose then they can go into a bankrupt chapter, whichever they decide

RACE, I posted about different races, different religions, different genders

and a correction is in order: Obama is half white

the Constitution is dated September 17, 1787, today it is November 12, 2012

and about personal responsibility: the 1% is better of the 99% don’t ask me WHY the Koch brothers, Mitt, Karl Rowe the Donald, Cheney (Halliburton) and many others have much more $$$ than they deserve

the worst Recession in 40 years created by 2 unfunded wars and close to 20 millions out of work while they (HINT) they outsource jobs to CHINA???

all those people against entitlements in the East coast because of Sandy are SCREAMING for FREE help from the Goverment

what is it going to be; NO MORE FREE $$$ from the Goverment or WAIT A MINUTE, now I need it because it is an emergency

does that not make the same for the 47%

waiting for your reply, make it a good one next time and make it from the USA not from a far away country where you live comfortably

    WOW!!!!

the elections in the USA happened 6 Nov on a Tuesday
and there was a CLEAR winner

today is the 12th and we are talking about politics and percentages

don’t forget 70% of the black vote
    68% of the Hispnics
    66% of the Jewish
    55% of the white women
    45% of the white males

    voted to re-elect Mr. O

on another NOTE; listen carefully, the Hispanic vote will be 20% of the total USA population and Texas will be a BLUE state by 2012

I listen to all sides but understand where this Country is headead

If the Republicans think that another boat of white Protestants are going to land in Plymouth Rock in another Mayflower ship then they are in for a BIG surprise

I have the Stiebel Eltron on demand water heater for 5 years now without a problem. Mine is a 220 volt and works with 2 baths and the kitchen. More than once there have been more than 10 people in my house (not counting the dog) and never did we have a problem with hot water.

Stiebel Eltron has 3 models. One is a 110 volt for the kitchen and 2 versions of the 220. The prices in the USA ranges from $150.00 to $250.00 in these models.

I discovered them when I lived in Germany because nobody in that country or Europe uses a water tank heater. They are compact, efficient and cheap.

that is my story on the hot water on demand, your milage COULD vary

you are required to let the Embassy know when you visit a foreign country for an extended time, just in case you want to go home when the AK-47’s open up

    or you get arrested

    or you get pretty sick

or notify your next of kin that you are DEAD

you were the one with the 15,000 number and they have been counted by Imigracion based on their database

residency, CHECK and you are counted

perpetual turist and you are not counted but can stay for years

over 1 million US citizens vist Costa Rica every year and that is a fact from the State Departmemt, they don’t keep tabs on Nicaraguans, Colombians, etc..

the fact that I have property in CR comes to play in should I be counted or not since they have my information and am not renting, it is called cross reference

my wife is Costa Rican and I DO NOT need to leave the country every 90 days since the marriage certificate has been placed with the CR GOV.
