As you can see from there are many people that believe that airplanes are a very serious contributor to global warming …

“Less than a week after the world’s scientists warned there may be just eight years to act on greenhouse gas pollution to avoid the worst of global warming, the aviation industry has announced record increases in the number of flights worldwide.”

“Aircraft emissions have a greater warming effect because they are released at altitude. The UK government says this exaggerated impact means that 1 tonne of carbon dioxide released from an aircraft does the same damage as 2.5 tonnes emitted from cars or power stations. And because most aviation is classed as an international activity, its emissions are rarely included in official figures and they are excluded from the Kyoto protocol, the international treaty to regulate greenhouse gases..”

Fascinating how you always spring to the defence of anybody that has ever been accused of ripping people off Simon – are you an attorney? Or perhaps you have been wrongly accused off the same thing in the past?

It would appear that the police authorities are under the impression that his group is responsible for breaking the law.

According to “Jaime Ligator was arrested in Costa Rica on May 18, 2007, on a complaint, filed under seal on February 28, 2007, charging him with one count of conspiracy (18 U.S.C. ? 371). The complaint was unsealed on May 17, 2007.”

And ‘if’ the stories we have been hearing for years are true, that his group WLI has been selling land that belongs to someone else, then yes! I would suggest that he is helping people to “lose” a lot of money.

These scenarios are never black and white because there are multi-jurisdictional problems involved … US firms selling out of the US and maybe also Costa Rica, selling land in Costa Rica than may belong to a Costa Rican corporation owned by a US citizen…

The client complains to his US attorney who tells him to speak with an attorney in Costa Rica who tells him to complain to his attorney in the US who tells him to file a complaint with the Postmaster and the BBB and it just goes on and on…

And yes! Normally the perps know exactly how to structure things for maximum protection and confusion…

“Gravamenes” are NOT always serious as we hope you will discover.

So just please do your homework, try to think of a good attorney as an ‘investment’ and not as an ‘expense.’

I’m sure I saw rhubarb in the street market in Zapote a while back… You can find some fantastic produce at terrific prices at these markets.

That’s an incredibly hateful video and it may be true in a small number of cases but certainly does not apply to the majority…

Let me understand this correctly… You are about to sign legal documents to buy real estate in a foreign country and you have not yet checked the title?

I would suggest that you delay the closing, find yourself an attorney fast who will protect you and make sure that everything is in order.

Do not be rushed into buying real estate.

You can call it a ‘club’ or whatever you want but I can assure you that since he is soliciting investor’s money he is treading on VERY thin ice both here and in the USA.
