A good friend of mine – a woman – will be writing an article on this very topic – women travelling alone – within the next week or so for you

AndrewKeymasterJaco has changed, is changing rapidly and will continue to change. Some changes will be good and some will not…
The new Auto Mercado just outside of town is the most upscale supermarket chain in Costa Rica so people will not have to go without their favorite groceries soon.
I would not personally choose to live in Jaco either, I prefer the quieter and cooler mountains but many people love the beach areas and many people like the active nightlife which like all places (Las Vegas for example) has a dark side to it.
But we are forgetting that “we” are not everyone. We can not judge for others when it comes to their choice in real estate… We do try hard to educate but at the end of the day, the decision is theirs and CONCASA for example has already sold half of their apartments and they haven’t put a spade in the ground yet except to put up the billboard..

Ps. 10,000 baby boomers every DAY celebrate 50th birthday. Not all 10,000 have the same ideas about real estate as we do…
PSS. Dwayne, I removed the URL from your post, for some reason you included the URL of the log in page which will just confuse people (and me)
AndrewKeymasterWhen I left New York State in 1996, we were paying about US$10,000 per annum in property taxes on our home in Westchester County… Phew! Simply can’t imagine that now

AndrewKeymasterI am told that if a person keeps opening multiple new windows, as long as there is any activity between screens in a 20 minute period, we should not see this message.
Supposedly, if we are seeing the inactivity message sooner than that, something is going on with the browser.
The autologout is an important part of the built in security system and prevents people from getting locked out due to a dual login if they go from work to home.
By the time they get there, the other session would be logged out so that it does not trip the dual login detection mechanism.
Can you PLEASE tell me what browser you are using?
Scott
PS. Must admit since I stopped using FireFox, I don’t think I have had this problem.
AndrewKeymasterMay I suggest you do a search for those terms on the internet?
Scott
AndrewKeymasterSorry for this delay, I have again emailed the gentleman that is helping me get to the bottom of this and will post as soon as I hear back from him

AndrewKeymasterThis is a free website that takes up an enormous amount of my time and “investigating” anything for free takes up more time.
The only reason your company is mentioned so often Mr. Gale is that people see your marketing more than any other.
If I am not mistaken, in a previous article somewhere it was mentioned that Paragon sends out tens of millions of marketing emails per week.
In comparison, my website which has been existence longer than Paragon and has significant presence online only sends out 6,000 weekly email newsletters and obviously it would not be possible or ‘right’ to ask our VIP Members not to comment about a specific topic.

AndrewKeymasterYou’re being very unreasonable Maravilla, you know as well as I do that the TONS of radioactive depleted uranium weapons (NUCLEAR weapons) released by the US in Iraq has a lifespan of only 4.5 Billion years so after that, it might be “safe.”
This is all part of the plan! The depopulation plan except it’s going to be a bit more widespread and slightly more long-term with it’s truly cataclysmic effect than any of them are anticipating.
Enough Scott or I will have to moderate myself! I hate moderating myself.

PS. http://www.greenpeace.org has a good article on there about the catastrophic and for the most part – unreported – increase in cancers around Chernobyl. Coming to a town near you soon!
AndrewKeymasterPray tell! Where exactly was the “insult.”

AndrewKeymasterThere is a significant amount of discussion forum posting on this site and many other CR sites about Paragon, please ‘search’ and you will find some information.
Just because a company is ‘aggressive’ does not mean that they are doing anything wrong. Although I must admit, saying the roads are “great” may be somewhat “optimistic.”
We are also expecting to hear from their attorneys soon about a variety of topics so you will have a lot of information to review.

WeLoveCostaRica.comAndrewKeymasterIt seems that you are very quick to come to a conclusion that Costa Rica is not for you and if I am not mistaken, from your comments, it sounds like you have never even been here.
Costa Rica is very much a matriarchal society but with all due respect, making a decision to live in a foreign country based on one week stay is not particularly sensible and you will not be able to establish what sort of “status” you might have as a women here in that time either.
If you speak Spanish, your ‘status’ would be much higher than if you do not. I am assuming that you do not speak Spanish.
You do NOT need to be a citizen to live here and getting citizenship here is a very long process, as it is in your country. You need to be a legal “resident”.

AndrewKeymaster1. I did receive an email letter from an attorney representing Paragon Properties which was also posted in this forum but did NOT receive any National Registry documents or any additional documentation whatsoever.
2. It would appear that the VIP Members of this forum – many of whom have had communications with your company – are not as much concerned with whether Paragon owns the land, they are understandably more concerned about whether they – the buyer – get legal title to the land that they are buying from Paragon.
It should be noted that this is not just a concern with your company alone Mr. Gale, there are other companies out there who seem to be trying to duplicate your marketing methods but of course your firm seems to be doing more marketing than most.
3. Please feel free to include useful data here in this ‘Discussion forum’ as long as you are willing to “discuss it”. That’s obviously what ‘Discussion forums’ are for…
4. I did unfreeze the registration for AJPIII so your attorney should be able to access it.

WeLoveCostaRica.comAndrewKeymaster1. Before I take the time to reply to you who claim to be representing Paragon Properties – Please confirm to us – who are you exactly?
2. Since you and someone else tried to log on to my site using different computers, my system had automatically blocked your registration for 24hrs this morning, I will unfreeze that for you so that you can tell us who you are.

WeLoveCostaRica.comAndrewKeymasterI have mentioned the price of oil in the most recent article about the ‘plan’ for the new airport in the Southern zone.
Most experts will agree that the price of oil is only going to go higher and if the USA “intervenes” in Iraq with those “safe” nuclear weapons they talk about, then we’ll probably see $100 per barrell real soon.
I will start a new thread on this topic because I would love to get some feedback from our VIP Members

AndrewKeymasterIn this case, the “tirekickers” and the “developers,” both “men” and “boys” are from the USA.
Do we know what percentage of real estate developers in Costa Rica have adopted this “pay-before-you-see-it” policy?
How many real estate developers in the USA insist on being paid before they will allow someone to view the property they have paid for?
Just as a matter of interest…
