We do have excessive taxing in Canada. I believe it is well over 50 per cent. The most dastardly thing, though, is the lack of accountability by the government on how they spend the money.If it were spent in an efficient productive manner the taxpayer would not feel so frustrated and abused. The prime minister does not have any checks and balances to counter his authority. I just cannot believe that we have a true democracy. Betty Mychasiw
