Hello Janet12424. Rentista is a big problem with the CAJA. My commonlaw husband & I are paying a very large payment of $480. for both of us for one month. We have been told it is unconstitutional. Just a little crazy. So much for reading information about “reasonable rates”.
I wonder what this means for rentista residency where we show an income of $2,500 per month. Will they say my husband has an income of $1,250 and I have an income of $1,250? Or will they say we both have an income of $2,500 per month? We pay caja online and just made our usual monthly payment and it went through. I’m wondering when this will catch up to us? When I go to the doctor?
Maybe if you try being a bit nicer you’ll get better service. I’m sure there are good herbalists here. Never heard of such a thing as hanging books in windows!!

My husband and I just relocated to Costa Rica from Canada.
We are living in the Ojochal area. We do not have our residency yet. We went to the Banco Nacional and they gave
us a list of what was needed to open an account. The list was; letter from a friend in Costa Rica, exact address in Costa Rica, bank letter from our Canadian bank, last 3 months of bank statements and a deposit. We went back the 2nd time
and we opened an account. They also took our old currency
and gave us the new bills. We found that the Banco Nacional was very hepful. We actually have had more problems with the Scotiabank in Canada.

I send in a 45″ x 45″ x 45″ cardbox small items for $145.00 every 2 months and that includes bathroom fixtures, electric outlets, electric breaker box, a hammer, drill, drill bits and other small tools.

Aguirrewar, is this cardbox sent by air cargo? If
so what airline did you use? Sounds like a good deal.
Thanks
Bev

I was interested in information about the SIEPAC transmission
lines. I was reading from the Finca Bellavista newsletter
that they heard the sounds of the forest being cut down.
I found it very sad that old growth forest is being cut down.
Do you know of a website with information in English.
Thanks

Hello I am interested in finding a Scotiabank in the Dominical or southern zone.
Does anyone know where Perez Zeledon is or Los suenos? They are supposed to have
a Scotiabank there. Does anyone know if there is a Scotiabank in San Escidro de
General? Thanks for your help. Am also interesed in a website for small jungle
style homes or bamboo homes.

Hello I am a Canadian and living in the Parry Sound area in northern Ont.
I am curious as to where La Suiza is? Oh yes we have snakes in the area
where I live and one type of rattlesnake. I hike everywhere but rarely
encounter snakes. It seems like there are less and less of these valuable
creatures. Have a good time in Canada.
