    Hi Micolea,
First you have to go to your Vet and get a International Health Certificate, then you have to bring that to a Federal Vet to have the paper work checked and stamped by them. It is about $20 for the regular Vet and $20 for the federal vet. If you talk to your vet , they will be able to tell you what vacinantions Fido needs.
I know Air Canada does direct flights to San Jose, but Sea Air will be able to tell you all you need to know about flights, vacinations etc.

    Hi Kevy,

We use Sea Air International out of Toronto and they do have a satelite office in the U.S. (www.seaair.ca) if you give them a call I am sure they could be of help, at least point you in the right direction. if you call, ask for Jeff or Gyneen and say Brian and Sheila referred you.

    Hi Micolea,

My wife breeds Bengal cats and we ship them all over the world with no problems, we have had a problem with Huston in the summer because of the heat, and the winter some flights are not heated so you have to wait until there is a heated one, I guess it depends on where you are shipping from and what time of the year, but it should be no problem as long as all paperwork is in order.

Ticorealtor,I know about reality, it is happening in my own backyard, we have a really bad homeless situation in Canada and you need to look at the different types of problems that the poor and homeless have here.
sleeping outside in the snow at minus 30 degrees
dangerous living on the streets in big towns
fruit and vegatables do not grow year round
    and a lot more
No country is immune to poverty, just help where you can
I don’t drink Starbucks I do Tim Hortons,

Ticorealtor, for what it’s worth, I may be naive about the inner workings of CR but I do give a crap as well as others.

Just a question on a serious note, what is the IICA doing for the working poor on plantations in CR, aside from ISO 14000?

So if you buy your fruit and veggies local you can pretty much find out how they grow the produce?
Is there a organic market happening?

    Thank’s a lot
