We are going to be down in May and will be looking for a Galloper to purchase. Probably will not get it insured since I have heard insurance is very expensive there.
bigpinekeyMemberIt is my understanding that there was a delay because he was waiting for approval for the first bio filter sewage treatment system in Costa Rica, which he now has. Trevor is developing a very unique eco-friendly project . I expect it will take longer than usual to complete, but it will be worth the wait.
bigpinekeyMemberLotus, I would suugest you contact Trevor yourself if you want the answers to your questions . Newsletters are sent out and updates are given if you are registered on the website or have met with him in person, which I would suggest anyone do that is interested. I personally have made a decision to invest in his project.
bigpinekeyMemberWhile in Jaco someone in our group became ill. We asked the front desk where there was a doctors office and they said the doctor does house calls. Five minutes later an ambulance, emergencias 2000, pulled up with lights on with a doctor, paramedic, and secretary with a credit card machine in hand to collect payment. All this for $120.00
bigpinekeyMemberI am not a realtor, but we do have 2 houses for sale here in the fabulous Florida Keys. Even here in paradise the market is dead. We are praying for no hurricanes this year, heard that poeple are waiting until after the storm season to buy. This is our only holdup right now on getting to know C.R. on a long term basis.
bigpinekeyMemberJerry,
Sounds like you know that area well. Will take you up on your advice on a stop in Copan. We will not have a 4 wheel drive, just a small pickup, with spare tires. The fun is in the challenge. Will definetly check out the ruins and Twisted Tanyas while there. Thanks,
DonnabigpinekeyMemberI believe that the location and services of Jardines de Ensuenos will make it a desirable location for tourists. Although it is not on the ocean, it is a one minute walk to the main road in the center of town, which is 1 block from the ocean. You are probably correct in the fact that people will prefer a ocean front unit, but for what those people are paying for them, several hundred thousand to a million dollars, I don’t see how those could possibly pay for themselves. Trevor is targeting a certain market, in sales and rentals. I know at least 20 people here in the keys that have been or are planing on going to Costa Rica, and the majority go to Jaco, which is said to be like what Key West was 30 years ago.I am not sure about living there, I do plan on purchasing a house down there in the next year, right now this is strictly an investment for us. I also like the fact that Trevor is not stopping here, he plans to contnue developing in other areas. What is happening here in the keys, is that the motels and hotels , and trailer parks are being bought by big developers and torn down and they are building one million dollar plus oceanfront condos.
bigpinekeyMemberPlantation Key is a hot area right now, there are condos going up everywhere. There are alot of changes going on here also. I own a Nurse registy here in Big Pine and my husband is a manager for Cemex in Marathon. My daughter graduates from Key West High in 2 weeks and we are looking to retire there also.
bigpinekeyMemberI believe after you spend the day with Trevor you will see why I chose this project to invest in. He is fully commited to making this project work. As far as the investment return, I believe it is possible because he will be offering a 5 star service at a rental rate that is very affordable.Yes, I am in Big Pine Key of the keys. Where did you move to?
bigpinekeyMemberWhat information are you looking for? In December I went down to Jaco and after meeting Trevor became an investor in the project.
