I think if you have nothing to hide then let them check out your Lap top and other electronic devices. I have a home in Costa Rica and love traveling down there so if this little inconvience slows my trip home so be it. I think the real problem is if we as americans vote in this incompitent Demacrat who has no political experience we are in for more serious problems than the Government looking into my Lap top. The muslims are slowly doing to us what they have already done to Europe and if you don’t believe me read the book While Europe Slept it is chilling. I think when a Religion asks it’s followers to hunt down the author of a cartoon and you know the rest we need to worry.

I have one in Playa Del Coca called Sunset Properties they pay my utilities and TRY to market it for a rental but so far they have only rented it out one time. I have no problem when I need repairs or bill pmt. but I don’t think they go out of their way to rent it. I pay them 30% when they rent it out.

Hi david my name is scott from ca. my wife and myself purchased a home in CR. we use now for vacation but in the future we plan on staying for 6mos. out of the year. I have traveled there on several occassions prior to buying and in my opinion you would be very pressed to survive on 1,300 a month once you consider food utilities and rent. I have not even mentioned transportation how will you get around cars in CR. are not cheap and not to mention fuel. I would never discourage you from trying it couse I know why you want to do it, the country is beautiful and the people are very friendly but reality is it would be difficult at most for you and your wife to survive on tha amt. without working. I wish you all the luck and if you are ever in Playa Del Coca give me a call.

Hello my name is scott baker and my wife and myself purchased a condo in Las Palmas from Mapache. The guys doing the work did not secure our sliding glass doors so as a result they went in and removed the majority of our belongings, it does not matter where you live down there there are thieves everywhere. But I still love going down there and it did not hinder our love for the country. I can see them stealing the entire house cause you see how they take down the palapas and move them from one location to another the Balanise house is probably similar to these.
