Thanks for the update. It seems everything is up in the air! I thought the idea behind opening in southern CR was to divert planes south, similar to the opening of the airport up north, so as to reduce traffic at SJO. The new airport in the south was also to stimulate the economy in the southern regions. I guess no hard decisions have been made…
