Ok…One site for the government says that you only need $600.00 a month in Social Security income, and $1,000.00 a month for pension. Which is correct?

I am curious as well about the mild climates. I also would like a moderate tempeature, but I suffer with breathing problems. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to breathe aroung the 4,700 fott mark?
