My wife and I took George’s tour in August 2011. To both of us it was wonderful and worth the cost plus more. I am here full time. My wife will join me next week and also be here full time. We found an amazing rental on Craigslist Costa Rica that we could not pass up. That is the reason I am already here.
Look for blogs that don’t have an agenda and follow them. Three that I recommend are:Boomersoffshore.com
Retireforlessincostarica.com
Travelcostaricanow.comContinue your due diligence…It will pay off…….
Ccanada1Member
After reading everything on CR, My wife and I are planning an exploratory/retirement trip in June(1 month long). Just a few questions.
1. Are George Lundquist’s tours worth the time/money?
2. Is the caribbean side worth a visit?
3. Any members on this board rent apartments or have B&B’s?
We are 2 “almost” retired educators ages 52, 51 looking for any info., help, hints etc… on CR from residents.
Thanks,
Steve and Tracey Schlabra

Ccanada1Member
I can vouch for George Lundquist…I’m taking his tour in January but I have already recieved more than enough great advice from George to pay for the tour…IMO he is the real deal…No BS…No agenda other than helping one make the right decision for themselves….
My wife and I took George Lundquist 3 day tour in August of this year. We both agree that it was worth well worth the reasonable cost. His tour is packed with a realistic view of Tico and Gringo living in Costa Rica. You will see true Tico living, showing the good and the bad, helping you make a wise decision. We were a diverse group of individuals on the tour that brought many different questions and perspectives. We will be returning in the dry season to further help with our final decision. We highly recommend his tour. You won’t be dissapointed.
