Thanks, that is the type of ideas that I am looking for. Let’s all think and be creative with this and it will help everyone, who knows it may even help you.

    Thanks

My Friend, maybe you could share those ideas that were out there. There is no fill in the blank for anyone including you. Maybe you are missing the point here.

I want ideas for people to share on how to make it in other countries. Not just me. If you have an idea share it. If not….

You mentioned that you wished you could retire but did not make it clear why you are “not to that point yet.”

By that do you mean you do not have enough money to retire on?

If I were in your position, my one and only goal would be to develop some kind of online business that you can run from and make money from anywhere in the world.

Within the next 3-4 weeks I will be showing our VIP Members the new online business I have invested in. I am very excited …

Scott please let me know when the new online business. I am excited for you too.

“Not to that point”, I have too much to offer to retire. And like most I don’t have enough money either. This thread is to inspire people to share different ideas. I’m sure there are plenty to be had. As I said in my comments “Legally”.

I am looking into online business but having a hard time getting going. Thanks for your input.

How did this get off on this subject? This was supposed to be trying to help me get ideas of how I can get to Costa Rica legally and become part of a community I can enjoy. All of you brought up good points (for another thread) that I would like to weigh in on but that is not helping me or any of the others reading this on creative ways to become a part of a country they love. Again I don’t need any suggestions on why I CAN”T come (costaricafinca) I already know all of those reasons. Let’s get creative here and help each other.

If all else fail… impregnate a Costa Rican and then start missing your support payments…. they’ll never let you leave the country!!! (Only joking…. NOT a good idea!)
Married with one 9yr old. Seen plenty that looked good enough for that though.Hah!!

After I read my message it seemed harsh. NOT what I intended at all. So I changed it up a bit. Just looking for alternate ways of getting there. I love the place.
Suggest you read the info here and more so, details regarding working in Costa Rica.
This is exactly why I’m not there yet. Everyone tells me why I CANT be there and no one tells how you CAN get there. I have looked into all the rules and regulations but there has to be a way other than just retiring. There are plenty of ex-pats there now and I’m sure they are not all retired.
