After about a dozen trips to CR I finally made my first visit to The Osa 2 years ago followed by another one last year. I’ve now been to all 4 corners of CR and lots of in the middle and I can say without a doubt that The Osa has been the most beautiful. pristine region by far that I have visited and I HOPE it STAYS that way. There is no need to turn that region into another Tamarindo type area.[/quote
Bogino, I could not agree with you more. The OSA is one of the most beautiful places in the world. One of the reasons we bought property in the southern zone was the close proximity the Osa. It would be a travesty if an airport was ever built in that area. The new road has done enough to make it accessible.
I agree, the Osa is beautiful! But the paved road is already messing things up! I have a house in Dos Brazos on the border of Corcovado and this year the Cabina prices and the food prices in Puerto Jimenez are way up! Progress changes everything!
Does anyone use a Game Camera to take pictures of CR wildlife. I would post an example accept some odd mod idea against it. i think being as my last post disappeared.
Yes, I’ve used a game camera. I live on the Osa right on the border of Corcovado national park and got a great picture of a Tapir. The park rangers use game cameras to count the Jaguars in the park.
