You said it all right there! Overpopulation of the human species is so terrible that most people deny it completely. And the subject is so political wrong that no one dare discuss it at all. So, what to do with the masses until our earth can no longer support any life at all? Any solution will be seen as wrong, especially the correct solution: stop having so many babies!!
conniejogMember
Another source of noise that someone relocating to Costa Rica may think could be ‘cute’ is the ongoing howls of Howler monkeys.
When they bellow at midnight, 1 am, 1.15am,1.30 am and on and on, until time to get up, believe me, it’s not so cute!
I really think I would welcome the sound of the monkeys and roosters but then I haven’t been put to the test. Hope to some day. How about the screams that some children make when playing, especially when playing in water..I mean the screams that sound just like life/death situations. Here in Iowa I have the screams during daylight hours, the dogs for a while at night, and semi truck noise on valley road all 24 hours!!
conniejogMemberI love that video. Thanks for having it.
conniejogMemberI know a couple of real estate agents in CR who are probably the best in the world. I trust them completely.
I have close relatives who do missionary work all over the world, and never have they been motivated to be in a mall.conniejogMemberJust letting you know that I agree with your hinted at viewpoint. And to the person who talks about all the ‘good’ they do..well, missionaries worldwide have done untold bad also.
conniejogMemberSo, your cats kill whatever they like and Nature in Costa Rica suffers for your presence.
I think that is sad.conniejogMemberI’ve gotten both maps! Glad that I have both because what one has the other does not have.
ThanksconniejogMemberI think: everyone who is there is soooo lucky. you who are on your way..you are so lucky. I’ve visited there 3x & am sorry I wasn’t able to get the spot that I had my eye on right then and there!! Now it is much much more expensive.
conniejogMemberThanks Scott, I ordered the map you suggested and learned there, through the required Google account, what web sites I had visited using Google Search from this computer, which had gone back to 2007 when I must have installed the Google Search bar. I finally figured out how to delete that. Interesting huh?
I also ordered the map suggested by grb – it was from Nat’l Geog
Thanks guys, I should be set with the best maps for sure!
conniejogMemberThank you Soldier. I’ve noticed that you have useful info here in the forum. Thank you.
conniejogMemberThank you Dan,
I am following your advice.
Really appreciate it.conniejogMemberI have been wanting to stay in CR so as to eventually purchase my own house. My husband & I live on a farm in the US. I want to live in CR permanently. I’ve been in CR 3 times. We are in our ’60.
I am very interested in learning what you have in mind for someone to take care of your house.
We are neet, clean and responsible, honest and I have never had a housekeeper. That means that I keep house myself! I am a green type with a light carbon footprint.
I am looking forward to hearing what you would like for your house.
connieconniejogMemberBeen to CR 3 times. I want to live there too. Can get 2nd citizenship. You MUST go for vacation there before deciding anything. Plenty of people from USA already there to get your foot in door. I even advised my brother to take his Medical business there.
Many USA citizens work there for developers who are mostly USA.
Don’t know for sure if world/USA economy is putting too many developers out of work there.
Pacific side “Gold Coast” and hot with the above mentioned building.
If I had the $ I would hire you and we both would be happy!
