I have many good plant books but still find plants growing wild here or occasionally from a viverothat are not in any of them.
I take photos of them go to this website Find my name where usually, I can get it identified in a few days. Once, ID’ed, you can search for additional information.

Is the dog coming in as ‘cargo’ and is it traveling, unaccompanied? If so, you do require a broker.
If you are bringing it in with you, try another airline.

Have you inquired at any of the many appliance repair stores? There are many talented individuals here that may be able to help.

You would do best to go around the beach areas and ask around who is recommended to build pools.
There really isn’t many homes around the town of Liberia that actually have pools.
There is a company ecopiscinas in Orotina that builds and installs fiberglass pools. We used them for our pool when we lived on the farm and was pleased with the result
We live near Bagaces and we have a half built pool in our yard…

No this is a private clinic and has been in Liberia for quite a few years. This year, it has been enlarged so it now offers an emergency area and operating room. Oh….and deliver babies!
It is a beautiful facility and I too, have used it and recommend it it highly.
Not all the doctors speak English, though.

We, too, has ‘driven through there’ and the paragraph below, states the obvious.

”Sadly, Cobano doesn’t provide much incentive to stay longer than necessary. A large derelict construction site looms on the road intersection in the center of town where some years ago the Saloon was the local meeting point. Nearly all shade trees in Cobano have gone and unlike other towns in Costa Rica Cobano doesn’t have a park or central place for relaxing”.

Taken from a Nicoya information website

Definitely not my kind of town.

Keep out of the Parrita area which seems to be a problem. Also keeping away from standing water, heavily treed and shaded areas.

Here in the interior of Guanacaste and at the beach, it has been a very wet rainy season so far. It is raining as I write this post with thunder in the distance 😮

Chances are, you will be disappointed with the changes that have taken place. Although some of these changes have made life easier for those who now call Costa Rica, home.
You will be flabbergasted at the costs compared to even your last trip.
The Arenal volcano is not into performing these days…

We have seen it for sale, in the past, at the Do-It Center, outside of Liberia.

You may want to consider the all inclusive Hotel RIU, near Playas del Coco. Hubby was on the beach the other day, and said it looked very nice. Quite busy for the last day of school vacation.

Most us who live here have probably watched these, plus other episodes.
I know some of the agents showing the properties and have also seen many of those purchased homes when they have been put back on the market. I think the one in Samara is still up for sale, again on this very website!
I think most of the purchasers, supposedly, had only been in Costa Rica for a few days when they ‘agreed’ to buy their house.
But in fact, a couple of them had already purchased their houses, prior to the show…
I don’t think any of them even asked about toilet flushing…

Actually the time frame quoted, is three (3) years, which is totally unacceptable.
Although I wonder if it really will be reduced to 3 months.
