To all of you who have replied and were not born in Costa Rica are all tourists ! There is a legal process to become a resident of Costa Rica. I am sure Jeff Hickcox started this process as soon as he could and is only waiting on the system.
Let’s use this forum for something constructive rather than critising an honest man, like Jeff Hickcox. There are many dis honest people out there trying to scam people. Why don’t you spend your time constructively critiising the scam artisits and expose them ! I don’t think Jeff’s intention was to get rich on selling his book. At less than $ 25.00 and probably won’t make the NY Times bestseller list, he would never be paid back for the countless hours he spent. If you take the time to read it, he is only educating others how to do the real estate business correctly, wisely and lawfully. Dan Downing

I put an ad in http://www.craigslist.org – costa rica – real estate for the same type position. I received at least 3 opportunities from North American developers looking for project/construction managers
