Jim,
Best of luck in your restaurant business. I am also a fellow rice paddy pounder. Please let us know when you are fully up and running. Myself and some of my vet friends would like to come by for some good food, and good conversation.
Maravilla,
Thanks for your input. My wife and I are considering the route you took, we want to go as native as possible. We both also like the option of custom made, local woods and materials. Our home is a traditional Costa Rican design 2500 sq. ft. two story villa. We bought the home turn-key, however, the furniture is too modern for our taste.
Thanks David and Sue,
You have given me food-for-thought.
David,
Thanks for your response.
Great subject matter. Are there any vets or anyone else, with knowledge on how the Tricare Latin America program for military retirees, affects participation in the CAJA? I will have the Tricare Latin America military retiree healthcare, prior to filing for legal residency and CAJA health insurance. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Reloads are a great option, and inexpensive. I am sure a gunsmith in Costa Rica can help. I use reloads for my twin .45s and my 9mm, here in the U.S. We all have to reduce costs, on the range, and shooting a break-in idiot.
Two combat tours, and 29 years of military service; and I still need to do the paper drill and range test in Costa Rica!
