i’m probubly a couple years away from living there but still would like work to be done on the house.

yeah scott you maybe right.
no corporation, no legal resident, yes to power and water on the land.
the neighbor is looking after it for us and no we did not get this in writing anyway i will but i got werioded out about haviving to pay all his taxes and bonuses so i sayed forget it, i know i should do that and will.
anyway no on spanish but i’m learning and have a good friend who does. Should i just go into the local office?
i was prepared , i even looked in your book to find the info but could not.
it is tough to fit everything into a wurwind trip.
I’ve been back many times and still don’t have enough time to see everything
never heard of Caravan tours, but what i will tell you is that most os the orginised i tours i’ve been on in costa rica are over rated and expensive.
However just having someone to do all the driving might make it worth it.
You’re best bet get a bunch of guide books figure out where you wnt to go and maybe there will be a way to organize it yourself or find a similar trip
good luck,
pura vida
