We have about 15 years left, but are also looking to maybe buy some real estate now. We have not completely settled on CR yet so if the requirements become to high, we’ll look elsewhere.
Well said. I am no Bush fan either. I liked his first term, but after that…..he has been a failure to say the least. I just don’t see the US improving when it comes to redistribution of wealth…there’s way too many people who are now unwilling to support themselves. Pretty sad.
My wife and I are looking to retire somewhere less political, lower taxes, with friendly hardworking people ect… I don’t care if my neighbors are liberal or conservative…just nice people. Everything here is becoming so cut-throat….it’s just no fun anymore.
Anyway…..good comments. We all have our reasons for wanting something else…..good friends and cold beer is all a guy can ask for!For every manufacturing job lost, two jobs were created. As for facts….please explain the record low unemployment from 2001 to 2007. Yes, sometimes jobs move overseas. So some shoelaces are now made in China instead of Dayton.
Ultra-conservative? You mean straight, christian white guys, right? You sound real tolerant.Actually…not one job was lost until 2006…….when a certain party took over congress. In Michigan, blame the unions and their rediculous demands companies cannot meet. It’s funny how you think one man cannot fix all the problems, yet you believe one man created them. Our economy is in free fall because of ignorant, lazy and yes, corrupt people. I’m moving to Costa Rica because I’m tired of watching my country slide into socialism. The government here is bloated and getting bigger. People are getting more lazy as they hold their hand out for more freebies. I’m just tired of paying for it. I’m taking my money and running before all of it is stolen for the “greater good”. Hopefully tolerance in Costa Rica includes tolerance of conservatives.
