The same everywhere. Regular is 552 colones per litre or $4.00 per gallon!

Yes, and it is still $187, with the stop in Miami. If you originate in Miami, the fare with Hotwire on the same day is $276! (More money for shorter distance!) Just another example of the sensible airline industry!!

Yes, my charges for SJO to FLL are: $74.00 r/t fare + 60.42 tax = $134.42.
Today it would be $14.00 more for air fare! This is for September; checking today the fares are still available thru mid Nov. Oh, checked luggage is additional!

And a poorly written website with grammar and spelling errors, I might add, and mentions ‘Games of Chance’!

If you refer to ‘Medical Insurance in Costa Rica’ from Feb. 23, many of your questions and concerns will be answered.

Yes, however, you need to tell us from where you are originating.

Get to spiritair.com quickly as the FLL/SJO fares are reduced again. $88 plus tax each way on Tues/Wed.
As low as $236 r/t w/o the club and insurance.
Also, they sell one way tickets!

    Hola Drushton!

I was enlightened today on the portable a/c.

There is a hose in most cases or other equipment to vent.
With the setup here in our rental apartment, I cannot, without major adjustments, have that type of unit.

    Gracias

Never owned a floor model; hopefully I will have a good experience.
Any particular models I should avoid?

    Hello Scott!

No tubes involved; just a free standing unit on the floor.
Add water and cool the room.
Have not found many units to consider a brand yet.
Multi Frio mentioned that they had a Lennox in stock.
Will update tomorrow as I plan to purchase one.

    Yes, I visited those locations.
Multi Frio in San Jose called and tomorrow I will visit them.
Will report back for those of you that believe it really is hot!

Saw no confirmation in GT post (common sense as usual) that indicates not enough votes needed to pass.
If and when it comes to the people, my unofficial poll of relatives and their friends indicates a generally favorable vote.
The offer of referendum has met with opposition from some groups and organizations that oppose passage.
Looking at both sides of the issue, I would support Arias.
