As for BCBS or United Health, they will only cover emergency care. Cima also makes mention on their website, when I e-mailed the billing dept. at Cima strangely no reply was given. But both companies informed me that only emergency care is covered.
Jeff,
You may want to investigate “Tenants Rights” as they apply in CR. Very different than stateside laws. In short they are very favorable to the tenant.
Darn Maravella, quite the alarmist are you not! I certainly hope you have an escape route out of the fully barred casa you live in.
Marcia, wearing jewelry (espescially $$$) would not be a good idea should you plan to stroll Avenue Central, shop El Mercado etc. But can you put on a nice piece or two and go to Cafe Mundo and have dinner? Yes, Be smart and remember your enviroment, No need for bling in CR on a daily basis.
Suggest you leave your treasured jewelery in a box stateside.
