    Papers cost about $20. You get insurance at the border. Not very expensive. If I remember right it is less than $20.

    I brought my large dog in a kennel 1 year ago , They brought the kennel into the baggage area and we showed the papers to security and went out the door. All the other info you have is the same as I did. Kennel has to be at the airport to cargo way ahead of flight. ( Maybe 4-5 hours.)Call your airline for the best info.

    Call the airline that you are flying on and bring the Pet.
    they will let you know the complete drill.

    Call Continental Live Animal Desk at 1-800-575-3335.
    Have available the weight, height, and length of each animal.
    Go to Continental’s website and it also explains how to measure the size. The animal desk is very helpful.

    I just opened an account with Promerica. Didn’t need corp. or attorney. Put my deposit in and use their internet banking to pay my bills. This is a dollar account also. I do know that this bank is uninsured but are the others (really) insured. I have had experience with this bank for 5 years and they are top notch.

    I also live around Quepos. *I couldn’t find a surf rod and finally got a friend who went to Miami to get me one at Pro Bass. I got a 10ft. one but it is a two piece for $29.

    Your best news is that the road from Quepos to Dominical is 80% complete. I went from Quepos to Dominical today in 35 minutes.
