My wife and I have vacationed in Costa Rica 4 times and have always enjoyed it. We know we are not cut out for full time life there. My wife likes more golf.( and not expense golf as in Costa Rica) I want more tennis, but mostly we are type A’s. I am an active trader, a simple loss of price streaming on the the internet can send me into a cardiac arrest.

    Will be back for vacation…

    Hi ALL,

I am the guy who stirred the pot. Please everyone calm dowm forget what I said and chill. Some of you seem just too up tight to have some fun. I do not wish to cause anyone any grief. I guess I do not know my own power. Please excuse this hard driving gringo, and live your lives and be happy.

    Hi Scott,

So you figured me out. I love Costa Rica, took my very young son. Went back, did some serious raftying. Have been all the way to the Nicarogua border(excuse my spelling has I am enjoying a nice wine). All over the Pacific coast, San Jose, volcanoes you name it, have driven for hours stopped in little towns etc.

I can get by on my weak Spanish however my wife has no clue. The roosters in the morning are just too much. The whole place reminds me of my childhood in rural Ohio. Scott when I get down again I will get in touch.

Very thoughtful, I am glad you responded. What is always needed is a real dialog. I have found, guys like me, have to pin prick people to get them to come out of the closet, and tell me what they really think.

This has been fun and some good exchanges. I am gringo you never had indoor pluming until I was 17. I now have made a great deal of money through my own hard freaking work(and that of my wife).

I will one day kick back maybe even CR although some who responded may want to leave CR if I arrive. Thanks for your input.

    Hi

My point is I like to pull the wagon and others like to ride in it. We need more pullers than riders. Someone has to pay the bills. How is Pura Vida in CR financed.

    Hi

Thanks for response. I expect you are right about the 5 yr. deal. I would go nuts waiting for an internet connection, or a doctors appointment at 8 AM and seen at 2 PM, DMV!!! I love the people they are very nice and have a great time with them on my visits.I have been all over the country.

It is just that I feel we all need to be pulling the wagon not just be riding in it.

I think that feeling I have comes from the fact I had to work so hard
I wonder where the money is coming from for the Pura Vida in CR. My gut says money from USA helps.
