I have a cousin in Hawaii, was born in Hawaii to both naturalized US Citizen parents and another cousin, who was born in NZ and a naturalized US citizen through his parents when he was still a kid.
Both of my cousins applied to get a copy of their Birth Certificate from the state of Hawaii about 5 years ago. My cousin who was born in Hawaii got her Certified Birth Certificate and my cousin who was born in NZ did not get a copy of his certified birth certificate because there is no record his birth.
Only a person who was born a US citizen has a certified copy of birth certificate from any US states.
There is only one original birth certificate for every person and the originals are given to the parent/s or adopted parent/s or guardians hold it for safekeeping.
There are times when we asked our parents for it, they couldn’t find it because it was misplaced or lost… especially if the family moves a lot. So, the only solution you have is to apply and get certified copy of your birth certificate from the state government where you were born(natural born US citizen).
jtd2Member
jtd2, have you ever actually seen or met ADT’s armed response team? A neighbor was told this same thing by the ADT guy in Grecia but when he asked to go meet the team it turned out that there really wasn’t one.
David, No, I never seen ADT armed response team. To my knowledge, any alarm company response support are suppose to call the homeowner’s contact number in case of burglary or when the alarm went off first. If someone answered the phone and can’t answers the security questions asked by alarm company response team or nobody’s answering the phone… then they call the police to check???
jtd2MemberHow about putting a sign “Beware of Dogs(in Spanish)” on the windows around the house. There is also an alarm that you can buy that produce a barking dogs sound instead of the basic alarm sound…Radio Shack may carry it or any specialized electronic stores. Anyways, burglars are always afraid bitten by a dog.
jtd2MemberHow about a steering wheel that can be removed? You just take the steering wheel out when you leaving the car and put it back when returning to the car. I’ve seen it done on race cars, don’t know if that can be applied with a regular car.
Some thieves, they drove around in a tow truck. If they see a car that they like, they will load the car directly into the tow truck…
