Hey terri…nice to have that independence,isin’t it…i have some friends that do the same thing…they work their a** off and when they feel burnt out they take a month or two off…nice…i have some re in jacksonville that i’m restoring and whenever i turn them over(07)i’m planning on going to ca for 3 months…hope to get the real story then…if i feel it’s right i’ll buy….as i mentioned,i’m going to panama in may…it will be my first trip there…i’m excited about what i’ll experience…do you ever get to tampa…try my snail mail…ctampanow@att.net…it should be good….
Absoutely…i’m sure there are many options…there is so much commercial development going on (condos,resorts,etc.)one could do fine just servicing that market…i enjoy doing residential and smaller commercial projects….i do a lot of design build……i’ve found here that the least stressful,most profitable way is to build and then sell independently…what do you do for a living…and where do you live…I spoke with family in Ct. today….there doing the same thing i am…sitting in front of the fireplace….what is wrong with this picture….Ken T
hey fair…or should i say neighbor…..srq?…sarasota?…IL is really an international re agent…though their workshops do look interesting ….they are overpriced…i did subscribe to the print edition…it was informative ….my search is for my own personal journey…..i usually pick an area beforehand,gather too much info and freelance once i get there…..i’m into music,architecture,food,etc….i’m not in a rush…i have some re here in tampa and jacksonville and am looking at some other things…..ideally i want something in ca and us…..let me know when you return…maybe we can grab some lunch in ybor…and yak….have a sparkling day…Ken T
Hey breeze…i share your thoughts on belize…but i do like to visit for the diving and mayan ruins…also there is a great furniture maker there…panama and cr are comparable as to costs…once you get away from the beach and the resorts…prices are excellent….everything is relative…I have read about bouquette…international living is always touting it…sounds enchanting….i am a project manager for a u.s. mid-sized commercial and municipal contractor…though i have an extensive background in residential development,condo and mcmansions….also historic restorations…..I have been exploring the realities of ca for the past three years….I am heading to panama city the end of may for 2 weeks…..try my other email….ctampanow@att.net
