Sorry but $900.00 a month seems like a lot. We live down there for a month every year with a family of 5 for about $1000.00 a month and that is eating most meals out.

I am not sure about road maps but I am going to tell you that if you miss the Nicoya peninsula, Montezuma, and Curu you will be missing some of the best places in Costa Rica. I have been all over Costa Rica and those places are amazing
