You hit the nail on the head, Families!! what the hell happened to the tight nit family unit that took care of their own in a crisis? Destroyed by the Welfare mentality and the give me your money or I will take it mentality of our own Government. Yes I will say right now… get rid of welfare, if help is needed the family should come first then the Church. The American People should not be Taxed more than what they Tithe to their church and that is 10%. If people were able to keep what they earn and give to a charitable cause they wish to contribute to then there would not be a Welfare/Slave Mentality that is pervasive through out our Country.
An old saying…. When people can vote themselves more money taken from their fellow citizens (including Government employees voting theier own raises and perks) then it will be the end of freedom and the producers become the slaves of the Welfare and government subsidies. in the same breath Welfare recipients become slaves to Government Largess and lose the ability to produce for themselves…. Yes, The Government should and are Obligated to Protect and Defend the Constitution of the UNITED STATES. They SWORE an OATH. Now they stomp all over the Constitution and the Flag. The American People are to be blamed for this for being asleep at the wheel for all this Corruption to take place now out in the open for everyone to see. When more people are unemployed the burdon gets heavier for those that are working, until the breaking point. At that point The S**T hits the proverbial Fan. Anything goes then.

Free Speech has aleady been denied (PC). Property rights were taken by the Supreme Court by Eminent Domain (taking someones property and giving it to a private developer). Confiscation of all guns will be coming , right after they shut down all news outlets including Talk Radio, and the internet. First though, they have to Bankrupt the Country,… oh wait, they are doing that now. Cap and Trade will also be a contributer to the up coming party. Yes, America is Waking up out of a long slumber that has seen incremental changes. Political Correctness is the one area that has perpetuated the Farce, by stopping any speech that may be deemed offensive to anyone. Thus curtailing Free Speech and the Ability to speak against those that would harm our Constitution.Just one question. If and or when America falls to the Socialist /Communist/Fascist regime that has been brewing from within for many years, how will Costa Rica survive with no standing Army/Air Force or Marines? I understand that Democratic Republics do exist, Honduras etc. but when America becomes a 3rd World Country with the Sociallists/Communists/Fascist’s (whoever) are in power, they will only support like minded Dictatorshps like they do now, for instance backing the ex-Pres. of Honduras that was thrown out because he wanted to follow in Hugo Chavez shoes and become Pres. for life. Not standing with Iranians who want freedom in their country and undermine our country every chance they get. What do you think will happen to Costa Rica when their is No One to Stand up for Constitutional Democratic Republics and the whole world is under the Thumb of Socialist/Communist/Fascist One World Order? Vensuela, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and anyother Country that has it’s eye on CR will have no one to stop them from doing anything they want. America will no longer Stand for Freedom, how long after that happens, that the whole world will fall? Just a few questions That I have not heard asked yet.
Not to answer for Clayton, but ask 10 people on the street and probably 8 out of 10 could not tell you what the 1st amendement is or the 2nd. as well, not to mention all the rest of the Bill Of Rights. Probably 60% of Americans have no clue what the Constitution even says. Do you think they even know who Benjerman Franklin was or John Adams. Some probably don’t know who George Washington was. The Dumbing Down of America is by Design, to better control the masses. An uneducated populace is easier to control, especially if they don’t have a clue what their rights are. I thank God for Obama, he has done a good job on educating some Americans what Socialism/Communism/Fascism is all about. Those who voted for him are beginning to see what distructive policies he has endorsed and who he chooses to surround himself with i.e. Czars, he has appointed. This trend towards Socialism was started over 60 years ago maybe even more. Incrementalism is the key word. Obama has just quickened the pace towards that end. Proof is in his policies.

Now that Costa Rica is also going the way with High taxes, and other job killing measures, the only thing CR will have going for it will be a Dwindeling Tourist market and Americans leaving, and finding another place that hasn’t fallen to the Liberal Leftist Control Machine. Oh wait, There won’t be another place. Cap and Trade, Health Care, and all the other schemes by Crooked Politicians are only designed to control and keep people in Perpetual Poverty and Slavery.
