There is nothing I would consider special. The most used “spice” in Costa Rica is ”Salsa Lizano” and for those who like it hot Tabasco, from what I have seen so far. Pastry is mostly sweet.
Mmmmm…. Lizano…
raggedjackMember
Well, the music is fine, I can understand most of what he is singing……what are her lyrics?
I got the lyrics from my friend. If they are a little hard to understand in the recording, it is because they are both from central Illinois, and doing their best ‘Opera Voices’…

I must resist the sweet taste of his kiss- for I know it isn’t right.
Monsanto gives me flowers- his roses never fade.
If I succumb to the dirty work he’s done…-he’ll plant them on my grave*aaaaahhhaaa Monsanto
I see no soul within those eyes-I suspect the greed that I detect has fueled your lustful lies.I am the one they call Monsanto- it is I that would be king.
You are small- you stand no chance at all- against my sacred seed!**aaaaahhhaaa Monsanto
Have mercy on us all- your seed is sin! It’s blowing in the wind.
No one knows where it may fall!Instrumental
I am much wiser than my daughter- I ‘ve seen this kind of man before…
We must abstain from Monsanto’s poison grain…
Or become Monsanto’s whore.I am the one they call Monsanto- it is I who would be king.
I do not care- my poisons everywhere!
It grows the money green.*aaaaahhhaaa Monsanto
You’re no mortal man at all-with great deception, you’ve procured your protection.
But you’re not…above gods law.
No you’re not. No you’re not.
Not at all!April 17, 2013 at 7:30 pm in reply to: And you thought Costa Rica real estate was expensive? #159450raggedjackMemberCool! My mobile home is worth over 10 million in Monaco! If someone will help me get it there, I’ll split it with you…!
raggedjackMemberWell I don’t know about mosquito drones or implanted ID chips, but I do have one very important question in regard to whether Costa Rica and I can be compatible:
Do they have Dr. Pepper there???raggedjackMemberVERY NICE!
raggedjackMemberI work for a state agency here in IL, and we received a well-used car from another agency.
Our agency decided to take it to a local Maaco body shop to be painted to match our agency’s color.
When we got it back, I was talking to another employee, and we were looking the paint job over. We noticed what looked like a rust bubble under the paint in the middle of the hood.
We both commented that neither of us had noticed rust on the hood when we had originally received the car. We started poking at it and the paint started flaking off.
Underneath, it wasn’t rust, but BIRD POOP.
A bird had relieved itself right in the middle of the hood, and these guys painted right over it.
The car had been black, and was being painted blue, so no way they could have missed the blob of white in the middle of the hood.
Needless to say, the car went right back and they repainted the hood free of charge…

I wish there were $50,000 homes to show clients… With construction material costs rising, it’s hard to find a decent home below $200,000 (at least near the beach).
No beach for me… I’d want to be higher up. I’m thinking in the GreciaSan Ramon area… Nicer climate, but not too far if I do want to go to the beach for a dayweek.
raggedjackMemberThe thing I don’t like about House Hunters International is those people have huge budgets and are looking at 300-600 thousand dollar homes. I want to see the episode where they are looking at 50 thousand dollar homes or 500-800 dollar a month rent.
I’m sure the big, gorgeous homes entertain more viewers, but I’m looking to do research, not be entertained.
Until NASCAR starts back up….. 😀
raggedjackMemberSpeculative Capital.
I speculate that I will never have enough capital to need to worry about it.
Still not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing…
raggedjackMemberI never add salt to anything I eat. I never knew it was so complicated! I just don’t care for the taste…
raggedjackMemberRats, I can’t see it… Just flowers, houses I can’t afford, and some guy with rotten teeth!
raggedjackMemberDo they have ‘Pay at the Pump’ in Costa Rica?
raggedjackMember
You’re marrying a Costa Rican woman, right? And you’re talking about an account in a Costa Rican bank, right?
If yes to the latter, you can at least be given access to your wife-to-be’s account, but U.S. Social Security won’t permit direct deposit there. For the purpose of having our SS payments deposited in Costa Rica, Marcia and I have to have separate accounts at Banco Nacional, but each of us can access the other’s.
I’d just like to find a girl WITH a bank account!
raggedjackMember
Perhaps someone could use that old fashioned device known as the T-E-L-E-P-H-O-N-E to establish exactly what services they provide?
Scott
Now, why do that when I can receive multiple random answers from people I don’t know?? Then I can pick the one I like the sound of the best! 😉
