Does anyone have a update on Puerto Azul? The big plan looks Great!:)
ThanksrobertmacconnellMemberI just got word from a friend that lives in El Roble, Puntarena. He said,”Malas noticias, esta mañana pasé por ahí y la construcción se encuentra paralizada”.
My Spanish is bad, but I think that is = Bad news, this morning I went out there and construction has stopped. This was just today (June 26 2009). Can anyone else make a comment? PLEASE!robertmacconnellMemberScott, please pass my e-mail address to Happygirl.
robertmacconnellMemberThey have never shared any news with me. Will they still have the Hotel? What becomes of the property not being used? I could be asking questions all day. The web site was updated May 15 2009. Since Ana Casafont Marketing Director is gone no one reply s to my e mail
It’s a deal on drinks!robertmacconnellMemberHappygirl,
Thanks for a fast reply. I see that Our Puerto Azul has made it in to the World Cruising Guide.net (A forum for cruising sailors to share information, local knowledge, experiences and advice in ports and anchorages around the world with google maps)
http://www.worldcruisingguide.net/index.php?area_id=4948 This should help sell more condos.
Thought you would like to know.
Thanks
MacrobertmacconnellMemberIts been a long time for any postings. http://www.puertoazulcr.com/construction.html
I have a condo at Puerto Azul too. I know that the Marketing Director Ana Casafont was replaced. My lawyer Leonardo Salazar tells me all if OK. They have people on site 7 days a week. Can anyone give me a first hand report?
Thanks
MacrobertmacconnellMemberI too, am an owner of a Condo at Puerto Azul. Purchased 18 months ago. Communication has been poor, since they no longer work with reality (VIP) companies in Costa Rica. They deal internationally with Worldwide Destinations, 6451 North Federal,, Highway suite 1200A, Ft Lauderdale, Fl. New owners get a newsletter from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. to keep them happy.
Carlos Eden and Jeannette Varela no longer work for Puerto Azul and have been replaced by a hard worker named Ana Casafont Broutin. She replies to e-mail questions of owners.
Regarding the latest news of Puerto Azul, they have already finished the assembly of the foundation of the Tower 1 and the formwork that will support the concrete foundations. The material for the steel structure is in the country and the supplier is making the key components of the building that will be ruffed out for the tower structure in April. The wall that surrounds the project and the docks are finished.
Activity construction 24-7 is what I am told. My Costa Rican lawyer has confirmed that PA has their permits that in order now (that is why things were slow)! He said in a brief conversation, that it seems they were “back on track”
