compare that to the 24 hour emergency wait plus an additional 45 minutes to discover the dead body here in NYC! a similar thing happened again in new hampshire but that one was only 22 hrs so it barely made the news…I GUESS THATS WHY WE’RE ALL LIVING OR HEADING FOR COSTA RICA…I KNOW THAT’S OUR REASON

first of all thank all of you who dropped a line and tried to help.
I have seen bad reccomendations about mailbox, etc…they say they are good for other countries but not C.R. when i search jetbox i come up with everything from baseball cards to jet plane engines so i’m gonna need more info on that one…and aerocasillas has not returned e mails although i’m stil working on them…
once again thanks for your assistance

excellent article…i think edwin is the cabbie i used several times in san jose . He usually hangs out at the blue marlin casino, so you might add “ask where they stay ” so that if you in that area you can just walk over and see for youself

well, scott it’s like this..I’ve had cars repaired, towed rented and sold, and NEVER did i need to give a VIN number for them to know WHICH car i was talking about!!…they even had to ask me if it was 4 wheel drive and had an automatic transmission…maybe it’s a language thing or maybe it’s just a sample of the miles of red tape i hear so much about, when talking about COSTA RICA..remember i was just trying to get AN ESTIMATE..BALL PARK FIGURE thats all..several e mails later it was clearer and i can’t say they weren’t patient.. something we NEW YORKERS are not and need to be more of..lol…we also are used to watching out for scams so naturally something as personal as a vin seemed like an awful lot when it was never necessary when identifying what i was driving before…the ineternet makes me nervous,,,you yourself said don’t give out e mails if you don’t want to be bombarded by junk mails!

THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE A CHECK slow to write one…i saw SCOTT write something about “over 2000 lots available in C.R. but so far they’ve only built 20 houses on them”!! It might be best to sticking to buying existing houses or condos.. possibly too many builders have bought too many lots.. and they will eventually “learn” to be more price competitive, or start building first!
